Tone & Design

Project PAF #012 offers a versatile tonal range with a medium-overwound bridge pickup and a traditionally voiced neck pickup.

• Bridge Pickup: Overwound for pure rock-and-roll energy, the higher-output mids punch through saturated tones beautifully. Perfect for pushing a cranked amp, the Vintage Thick AlNiCo 2 magnets add punchy warmth while maintaining dynamic response.
• Neck Pickup: A classic PAF design with a warm, clear character. It excels in rhythm work and warmer lead lines, delivering heavy saturation when pushed hard.

The 1022 nickel-plated screws enhance string definition without introducing excessive brightness, particularly in the bridge position.

Vintage Aesthetics: Raw, unplated nickel silver covers are buffed to a vintage sheen, featuring subtle imperfections that enhance their aged character. Over time, the covers will develop a natural patina, completing the authentic look.
