Takes the general build idea of a PAF pickup, then muscles it up with higher output and stronger magnets. Uses a finer gauged magent wire for more output and a more refined low end with good top end chime and a robust mid section. This is a medium output pickup that can act like a vintage PAF or a powerful rock pickup. Extreme versatility is coupled with great sustain, response to attack, and exceptional handling of a variety of pedals. Screams with overdrive, but nianced enough to give you articulation in fast runs. Ideal for the player who needs vintage versatility while requiring a modern gain handling.
